the circle is a spiral, we have already ascended several levels

she waits day and night by his side
dreaming that what he wrote, that she can not read, must be about her

blinded kripplied knees
falling under these
tied up grounds
burning walking wires
i crawl up unsuctioned
gravity induced
under pressure of surounding world
social lies
pesticides
the signal green
stopped at crossroads
looking
falling blurs
confusion words
lacking punctuation
assuming the tone
on your own
staring into innerspace
outwardly
gazing
fireflys
facepaint
confusion lurks
upset lingers
faith denied

exnay nostalgia
walk on yonder
outside of this horrific stumble

Kite Song"

The Sunday after there was laughter in the air
Everybody had a kite
They were flying everywhere
And all the trouble went away
And it wasn't just a dream
All the trouble went away
And it wasn't just a dream

In the middle of the night
We try and try with all our mights
To light a little light down here
In the middle of the night
We dream of a million kites
Flying high above
The sadness and the fear

Little sister just remember
As you wander through the blue
The little kite that you sent flying
On a sunny afternoon
Made of something light as nothing
Made of joy that matters too
How the little dreams we dream
Are all we can really do

In the middle of the night
The world turns with all of it's might
A little diamond colored blue
In the middle of the night
We keep sending little kites
Until a little light gets through

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure about you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

every day, i see more of Your beauty
every day, i know more of my frailty
And i can only hope ill be changed
even as i look upon Your face

For the eyes my heart
they're on You forever

every day, i see more of Your greatness
every day, i know more of my weakness
and i can only hope ill be changed
even as i look upon Your face

for the eyes of my heart
they're on You forever
i'm in love with You

Betrothed
by Lauren D'Auria

overshadowing the wind
I stand in the midst of all
that has ever been known to me
betrothed to words of prophecy
enamored by all that remains of it
blows to the right
following onward I look down
at everything speculating
hopped up on some sort of
artificial stimulant
to say and do what I
inevitably said and did
hidden sort of passion for redundancy
the same old spontaneity
